There is something so fragile about autumn leaves. You can be out for a walk and pick up the most beautiful red leaf, but it will soon deaden in color and become brittle. There is no way to keep those precious gifts from nature.
Until now.
Laurie Pyszkowski has perfected the art of painting autumn-colored leaves on delicate silk scarves. Her paintings are so gorgeous, and unlike the "real thing," they will not fade or crumble.
Laurie sells the scarves in her etsy shop, Art & Silk Creations by Laurie Pyszkowski and she has also been sweet enough to participate in my Autumn Leaves Giveaway Event.
Laurie sent me a really pretty brown hand-painted scarf as a gift, and I can't even begin to describe how gorgeous it is. The silk is so light, and the leaves are so colorful. I was amazed when I opened the package. You can tell she put a lot of work into hand-painting each and every leaf.
Here's a look at the hand-painting on the scarf:
I like to wear mine as a headband. It's so pretty!
If you'd like to own one of Laurie's creations, just visit her etsy shop. She has a lot of really neat ones.
You can also win your own original hand-painted silk scarf from Laurie, All you have to do is CLICK HERE and you could be the owner of a beautiful piece of sky-blue Wearable Art.
