A walk in the park

Today's sunshine and temps in the 30s made me decide to take the boys out for some fresh air and Vitamin D. We decided to go to the park where there's a mile-long walking loop and a playground.

It was overcast as we drove there, and the sun only popped out for a few seconds here and there, causing us to cheer, but we had fun anyway.

Jordan rode in the backpack and seemed to be having a good time judging by all the gurgles and squeals. I took this pic over my shoulder.

We got to the playground and there was only one other kid there. He was kind of weird, cold and unfriendly. To his credit, Logan really tried to make friends with him, but gave up after a while.

After the kid gave him the cold shoulder, Logan wanted to knock his head off, but I wouldn't let him. He settled for pelting me with snowballs instead.

When it was time to go, we headed through the woods back to the car. I saw trees with BUDS on them. Spring is actually coming!

Everything was quite dull and gray, so the few flashes of color we could spot were extra pretty.

All in all, it was a nice walk in the park with my boys.
