Mostly wordless Wednesday: Butterfly

I was outside on Saturday and spotted two butterflies hanging on the side of my house. Closer inspection revealed they were freshly hatched. There were a LOT of empty cocoons under the lip of the siding on my house. Some Internet research leads me to believe they are common Cabbage White butterflies. Anyway, I took some photos of one of them. I was careful not to touch his wings. They weren't dry yet. I think its eyes are neat, and its curled-up proboscis (the tongue thing butterflies use to sip nectar from flowers).
